Martin Changed Monica’s Will on GH — Here’s How We Know
Monica’s will reading on General Hospital shocked the Quartermaine family. Tracy was especially suspicious about its contents, which seemed to have everything to do with Martin. There have been a few clues to point the finger at Martin, and the biggest one has been overlooked or forgotten.

Martin and the Letter He Found
Martin (Michael E. Knight) has held onto something GH viewers may have forgotten. At Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) home, he found a letter from Llanview written to Monica (Leslie Charleson). At the time, the conclusions drawn seemed to point to something about Drew, but it turned out to have everything to do with Ronnie (Erika Slezak) being her sister and their letters back and forth.
The letter was found in July, which coincided with the news that Slezak would join the ABC soap for a short stint. It was thought that perhaps Martin was shocked by the letter because it was from one of his ex-wives, but it seems he was more interested in the relationship between Ronnie and Monica.
Using the relationship between the sisters would be right up Martin’s alley, especially knowing that Monica had been sick for a while. His vendetta against Tracy (Jane Elliot) is ongoing, and what better way to stick it to her than to change Monica’s will? Given Tracy’s reaction to Ronnie being in Port Charles, Martin scored a win with his move.

Martin Knew Drew Wasn’t in the Will
Drew’s absence from Monica’s will could be a fluke instead of a clue, but it should be mentioned nonetheless. At one point, she cared deeply for him. His misdeeds have garnered quite a response from the Quartermaines, which could have led Monica to alter the will.
However, Martin still isn’t on Drew’s side. He returned to work for him only because he had canceled the investigation into Stella (Vernee Watson). It would be another settled score if Martin took Drew’s name out. This clue has many possibilities, including Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) telling him his client was not in the will.
