‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Wednesday, October 22 is going to be an interesting one as we delve into some interesting twists.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be beside herself with two of her babies hurting. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will encourage her to visit Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Since Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) isn’t responding yet, Nick will call home for parental help. He’ll ask his parents to investigate Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun).

Her phone call has him wondering and when added to the shifty detective he’ll ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to flex to get answers.

Speaking of Mariah, it looks like she may have had a huge mental breakdown. Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will be an illusion to her as he gets her to open up.

He’ll play the helpful psychiatrist as he’ll seamlessly fix the card Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) ripped in half and Mariah will confess to attempting to murder the older man.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are surprised it took Nick this long to call home for help.

He’ll encourage Sharon to go see Mariah since Noah isn’t responsive, but we think it’s more to keep her safe.

He wants to play detective hero and it’ll be easier if he doesn’t have to worry about her.

Sharon will be stubborn and not want to miss anything happening with Noah. So, Nick will call home and ask his parents to investigate Sienna.

We’ve been wondering from the start if she’s a rival, partner, or friend to Noah, and Nick wants answers.

There’s so much potential in this storyline, we really hope lazy writing doesn’t have Victor solve everything off camera again.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 22: Mariah should’ve killed Ian

It looks like Mariah is imagining seeing Ian as he’ll fix the card torn in half and when he leaves it’ll remain fixed.

Diving into yet another mental health storyline wasn’t on many fans wish bingo card after spending the majority of the last year plus doing them.

But there’s some potential here. Ian will talk to Mariah like a psychiatrist while also taunting her.
She’ll say he’s a poison who infected her and her life, and the older man in Paris was just a means to killing him.

After all, it should’ve been her who shot him, not Victor. But in the end, she couldn’t follow through with it because it would’ve been another of Ian’s victims, not hers.

This will be a powerful scene and leave us wondering did she imagine seeing Ian or not? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
